thats totally fine....
ETA: ask for a proof with both and with only first names and see which one you like better

same situation but reversed! i have a middle name and FH doesn't and i love my first and middle name together but i'm worried

I had the same problem.........everyone told me to take FH's middle name off.

I don't think it's weird at all. I don't have a middle name. Neither does FH, but his first name is hyphenated so it's kind of the same.
