Exactly the same as R&T here: I'm an only and Pat is the oldest of four boys.
I mentioned birth order in a another post recently. I believe a lot (not all) of what they say about it is true. The gist of what I've read is that oldest and onlies are natural leaders, independent thinkers, and are opinionated; middle children are the peacemakers; youngest children are fun loving and often get away with murder.
