Spin-off- what is your FH giving up to marry YOU!

it seems like too many of us have changed our lives for our FH- or Hubby

pets, shopping- going out to dinner

so what has he given up?

Jake has given up the ability to make up his own mind

the ability to take care of himself- laundry, Dry cleaning,

being a bouncer on the weekends- he really likes doing it- most of his freinds still do it- I actually agreed this weekend that he could bounce every once in a while- as long as I am taken out on a fab date the next night

I dont think eaither one of us gave up anything.....but we are def. GETTING a lot!!!!

Sleeping in on the weekend. I totally give him a hard time about it. He normally wakes up at the crack of noon or one. I do it too sometimes. Especially, after a late night but he will do it every weekend. Then he gets up and expects breakfast. Breakfast it's lunch...almost dinner.

he will only be 'allowed' to go to 2 meetings a week. he is a member of every single organization and goes to a meeting almost every night....

I thought that would change after we got married.... nope! It's one of those items with me where I just have to say 'choose your battles' This is one I will continue to lose, over and over again.

OMG- so last week I was losing it b/c Jake kept throwing his socks and underware on the floor of the living room- so for fun I put the laudry basket there to give him a place to aim

he put his stuff right next to the next night- I explained what I did- he goes 'I didn't notice'

He just can compute it in his brain- I think there is something wrong with them

last night same thing- he was about to throw it on the floor- when I said- go put in in the hamper- he put in on the floor next to the hamper! I freaking give up!

The only thing I can think of is sleep.

And I say this because I am a night owl and he isn't much of one.

Other than that, he isn't giving up anything, he still goes out with his friends, does whatever he was doing before.

I, on the other hand made the sacrifice of moving 50 miles away from my family from a neighborhood and apartment I loved just to be with him.

Honestly, I don't think either of us have given anything up. I'd like him to give up smoking and he promises he will, but we've got a lot of stuff going on right now so I'm really trying not to push it.

Btw, I don't know what my FH was blessed with but he puts all of his dirty clothes in the hamper and on the weekends HE does the laundry!! I'm such a lucky woman!!!

Also:

the right to watch a football/baseball game w/out any whining or complaining in the background

and the freedom to buy anything for his car w/out permission!!

I hope nothing. i like my free time with my friends as well as my pampering days for myself. I also think its great that he hangs out with his frineds sometimes. When we have children things may change a little.

He gave up living by his family. His entire family is in Michigan. I told him maybe we'll retire in Michigan, hehe.

Anything else he gave up was because he wanted to, not because I asked.
