Spinoff: ANyone ever win big at a casino?

I'm not a gambler, but an ex of mine hit $25,000 on a slot machine.
My aunt hit $10,000.

I never won THAT big.
Jim laughs cause I always hit the jackpots at the slots but I don't max bet. Pisses off the old folks or veteran slot machine folks next to me.

Im pretty good at Roulette as well. I never play for long though. I usually put in $100 and walk out with $250 profit ($350)

I step away when I win twice what I put in and if I start to lose. I have no need to go farther. Breaking even is good enough for me!




Jim on the other hand has NO luck whatsoever with gambling... he SUX!

My friend was kicked out, very last minute, of a college friend's wedding (she was a BM) - not my friend's fault - girl was a total Bridezilla! My friend decided to go with her boyfriend to Aruba the same weekend as the wedding that she was no longer going to - her boyfriend taught her how to play a poker game at the casino - so the first time she plays she bets $15 and wins $67,000!!!!! I am not kidding!!! So they came back with all this money, he was able to finally buy a ring, and I went to their wedding in Feb!! I always tell her she should call the ex-friend to thank her!!!

I won 70.00 in a nickel machine and had to be escorted to get the money.. I guess it was not big money, but for me it was. I hardly gamble, 10.00 can last me a long time in AC !

I won $250 one night on craps in a casino in Mississippi. I also won $300 in Lake Tahoe on New Year's Eve a couple years back. But that is the most I have ever won

I've never won big at all, but then again for me winning 'big' is a few hundred dollars .. LOL

I love the Wheel of Fortune slots!! In Las Vegas I once spent 6 hours on a WOF slot because I kept hitting .. I'd won about $600 before losing about 1/2 of it again ..

Funny story: I went to Las Vegas with an ex-boyfriend, and we were fighting the entire time (in fact, 3/4 through the trip we broke up) Anyhow, before the breakup he sat down to play the card game 'Let it Ride' and was trying to show off, but was doing horribly. I didn't know how to play but after watching him for a little while, I sat down to try my luck. Well wouldn't you know, I began WINNING nonstop! The dealer was kind of mocking him, saying 'boy your girlfriend is killing ya' Sure it was mostly beginners luck, but you wouldn't believe how PO'd my ex got! I wound up walking away with $250 in my pocket .. And luckily, I was single shortly thereafter

Hey if you break up on a vacation anywhere, there's no place better to bounce back than Las Vegas!
