we're paying 1300 a month in westchester: for a 1BR+1bath, NOT an eat in kitchen, but a pretty spacious one, private garage, by the Marina, parks a beach (all are under our building complex) hardwood floors, and about 15-20 min walk from Metro North. water is included. monthly electric and gas bill.

Remember - if you use a realtor you will have to have at least 3 months of rent ready to go - 1st month, security and the realtor fee. That was one if the best things about my apartment - only 1st month and security....

I worked in property management and some mgmt companies and landlords require 1st, last & security... so theres a chance that you'd need 4 months
