Am I the only bride who is a little freaked out about peeing on her dress, or about having someone actually in there with me?!? I cant even go at home without the water running...

I am not as much worried about them seeing but about it being kinda gross! Oh my goodnes..wiping...I dont even want to think about it! How am I going to reach over all that fabric and get in there!

My sister is my MOH - we have seen eachother pee plenty of times so, no problem here.

I think I may have to just get a dress that doesn't require two to pee while wearing it...
Those of you who needed that - what kind of dress did you have? Did it have a big train?

also i heard you're supposed to pee like a man wolud facing the toliet this makes it easier to pee.

besides peeing ... this is tmi...but if i have my period when i get married.... omg i really dont wanna think about it specially wearing white and having a bathroom buddy.... kinda freaked about the possiblility of this.

Same here. Face it you are definitely going to need someone to help you when you go to the bathroom. If you are uncomfortable asking a BM or MOH ask your mother. Maybe you might feel more comfortable with her. I mean the woman did change your diaper at one point in your life.

I usually don't go, but I made a special effort not to drink too much water on the wedding day. I'm proud to say that I didn't go at all after I put on my dress

Are you trying to give me a heart attack I didnt even think about that before!!! Of course my dress has a huge cathedral train, so it will have like 30lbs of bustled up fabric...I need to put this on the must take pics list ' bride attempting to go potty'

My DH was my bathroom buddy. I had to go once (right after the ceremony) and he helped me. I said well you married me so your the one who gets to help. LOL
OH Pee like a boy- face forward and sit on the pot. That way your dress will not get messed up. I learned that from another bride here and it really worked well.

I went once and my DH was my bathroom buddy. I found it much easier just to unzip my dress and step out of it rather than to try to maneuver all of those layers.

I was my cousin's MOH (who will be my MOH now) and I had to help her in the bathroom. So imagine now if you will, her with her hands outstretched against the walls, and me holding up her gown while she peed, and the entire time this is going on, both of us laughing hysterically.
Since I went through this with her, it will be time for her to return the favor!!! And once again, we will both probably laugh through it!!

LOL... you girls are so funny! but oh my god! i never even thought about this situation... and I have a bladder the size of a pea, so this could present some issues... also considering the fact that I hardly ever wear dresses, i am going to be beside myself managing a wedding dress... thank god, my sis is my MOH... i guess that will have to be one of her duties....

My MOH helped me once, DH helped me once and I sat on the bowl sideways and held my dress myself once. I had a 6 foot train.
Yes, it freaked me out. I did for one person as MOH once and was grossed out because of the urine smell. I've done it for other people too, but it wasn't bad at all.
As much as I tried not to drink too much, I still had to go a few times and was happy that my urine was at least somewhat diluted and I didn't worry about the smell thing.
I apologize if this is waaaaay TMI.
Bottom line is, you have to get over it. This will pale in comparison to what people see when you give birth. I am already worried about the enema and I'm not even PG.
