spinoff: Billy Joel fans - favorite Billy song?

Billy Joel is my favorite singer, and it's so hard for me to choose a favorite! I tend to like the less mainstream ones (e.g. I love the Cold Spring Harbor album). I'd have to say my three favorites are:

Summer, Highland Falls
You're My Home (our wedding song)
Angry Young Man

not to mention...

Falling of the Rain

that is my favorite billy joel song also. i love all his songs though. they are great. he actually attended my high school and sat next to my uncle in chours. he still comes to visit our school all the time. he came alot during my senior year. very nice man.

My mom loves him too, so when my sisters and I were younger, she alwasy used to sing her favorite song - The Longest Time - to us and we would sing it together Craig's dad also went to high school with Billy Joel! He tells us all the time how back in the day they used to watch him play with his old band, The Hassles and he has all these vintage records of his too. very cool!

I also love Billy Joel even more because it reminds me of my first date with Craig. We were driving back from the beach, and I was falling asleep, but was still half awake with my eyes closed. We were listening to Billy at the time, and when She's Got a Way came on - Craig thought I was asleep and he started singing it to me!!

So, my favorite songs are:

She's Got a Way
The Longest Time
Tell Her About It

but I really love them all!!

Awww, that's so unbelieveably sweet!

Thanks!!! After a day at the beach - he TOTALLY had me after that ride home!

Though I'm not the biggest fan of Hicksville where I grew up... but I did grow up in the same neighborhood as him (the Levitt section of Hicksville) I LOVE the fact that I know the places that he sings about!

My favorite song is so hard to pick but I'd have to say 'Uptown Girl' is my #1 favorite followed by 'I've loved these days' (my sorority song)
