Spinoff- do you HAVE to wear a slip under your gown?
If you don't want added puffiness, should you forego the slip?

you don't have to.
ETA: It also depends on your dress. Like the one i'm leaning towards if I don't wear a slip the lady at rk bridal told me when I start walking it could start going in, meaning like falling inbetween my legs. I guess it dpends on the dress.

well my gown is a simple A line--not too 'pouffy'. at first when i tried it on with the slip, i was like 'this is retarded...it's just excess' but then i tried the dress on without the slip--and i have to say that it was more comfortable with the slip on.
i guess it totally depends on the type of dress you have

i tried on my dress alone and it didn't do as much for me as the dress with the slip-- it's not major poof, just a little poof to fill it out. i mean, i'm not wearing a hoop skirt or anything hahaha-- but i would ask the salon when you try the dress on again and you might as well try on stuff underneath just to compare and make sure that you feel the best in your dress... HTH!!

yup, the lady at RK Bridal told me the same thing, and it is tru, without the slip the dress will fall between your legs when you walk. the slip will prevent that from happening.

I have a question then... My dress seems to have the crinoline and a slip built in. I haven't put it on since it got here, but do you think I am going to need a slip?

Only if she's going to have the 'in-between' legs issue.
I guess whatever dress I wear I'll try to get a non poofy style slip to avoid that issue. I think it would drive me crazy all day.

you dont have to but it really depends on the dress... it might not hang properly without one... like if the dress is too flimsy it will go between your legs.. my dress is very thin and i have to wear one so that doesnt happen...

That is what I was told too ~ so I need some kind of slip (just a basic one not a puffy one) I am not big on the puffy look for myself!

I have the same thing. My consultant told me I didn't need a slip because the dress already has it built in.
