I find it disgusting if you don't. You never know when you shake a person's hand if they urinated on their hands or have poop under their nails.

I wash my hands before I go too - NYC subway, files, elevators, blehhhhhh - I want to have clean hands within the vicinity of the area at all times

ALWAYS. I work in a school and I have become SUCH a germ phobe. I wash throughout the day, not just after using the can. One week of being without my car and having to take the subway (I got such a cold) did that to me.

It amazes me when I go to meetings with supposedly professional people, that I often see people coming out of the stall and just leaving the room.

I have to admit.....sometimes at 3 am when i don't touch anything, except the paper, I barely rinse...SOMETIMES....

if I'm not home, I rarely go to the bathroom!!! If I do, I don't sit (ever! I have tremendous thigh muscles from squatting!!! ) - I wash, dry, then use Purell...and of COURSE, I use a paper towel to open the door to leave the room.

Yes. and its actually a Rule at my job. We actually had to fill out a Self evaluation on our hand washing techniques

I hate using the bathroom outside of home, but I use the 900 layers of TP on the seat method. My best friend and I have the whole bathroom thing down to a science..I love it when they have the trash can right by the door, so the paper towel I use to open the door cna be discarded right there!

oh god. i try to avoid public bathrooms AT ALL COSTS!
i try not even to use the one at work!!
and i dont think i ever used the one at school! i would hold it. i dont care.

only thing more worse then not washing...is witnessing the act...

i must of seen on mutlipe occaison, people just walking right on out without even thinking about stoping...

some people just turn on the water for a second and continue walking out...

others just grap a paper towel..

i dont get it, whats so hard...?

any one ever see the special on NBC Today show??? Don't touch the handrails on LIRR escalator. YUK!!!! Supsrisingly the subway handrails were clean!!!

YES!!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Even If I just have to enter the bathroom for something like cotton balls!

Funny you mention it though, at my office there were a few ladies who NEVER washed their hands. There was a sign posted up in the bathroom telling them it was gross not to wash their hands. After that, a bunch (the ones who didn't wash) were bit^#ing about the 'bathroom police'.
