I don't wash them in really dirty bathrooms - I go STRAIGHT for the PURELL that is always in my purse. I think it's more effective than touching everythng you need to touch to wash, then realizing there is no paper towel to shut the water off with, or open the door with. Purell is more effective than alot of the crappy soaps in Public Bathrooms.

I wouldn't feel right if I didn't.
I wash my hands BEFORE and AFTER I go to the bathroom. After being on the computer and dealing with clients I wouldn't have it any other way!

Always Alway Always...I just don't understand people who don't...I mean how nasty can you be???? It takes all ove 30 seconds to wash your hands...
I'm so anal about using the bathroom outside of home...that I never touch the latch on the door unless I have a piece of toliet paper in my hands, if I'm wearing pants I pull them up so that they don't hit the floor when I squat...and i use a paper towel to shut the water off and open the door...I get skeeved out very easily...if a public bathroom is too gross I'd rather die of anguish than evn walk into it....

only thing more worse then not washing...is witnessing the act...
i must of seen on mutlipe occaison, people just walking right on out without even thinking about stoping...
some people just turn on the water for a second and continue walking out...
others just grap a paper towel..
i dont get it, whats so hard...?
I used to hate to see this at work. And it was always someone was looked prissy and well dressed.
Who knows, maybe they have anitbacterial gel at their desk and they don't want to get their hands wet.

I will admit that as a kid I don't remember washing my hands as much after going to the bathroom but as I got older, I read more about germs and became more aware. Now I can't leave the bathroom without washing my hands.
I am also weird in that after I dry my hands, I roll the end of the paper towel and stick it under my diamond of my e-ring, to get the water out from under there and I dry the diamond so it doesn't have water spots.

if I'm not home, I rarely go to the bathroom!!! If I do, I don't sit (ever! I have tremendous thigh muscles from squatting!!! ) - I wash, dry, then use Purell...and of COURSE, I use a paper towel to open the door to leave the room.
