Spinoff from butterfly20 - XMAS

Am I the only one who has started Christmas shopping already? Just a few things I have picked up along the way... I always get so bogged down by the time Nov / Dec rolls around and I hate being forced to just buy somethign bc I am running out of time!

i wasn't in the stores physically, just shopped by catalog.. but i still feel like a loser! hee hee hee

I have huge family and always start early. I make sure I finish by Thanksgiving. I hate the crowds in the stores after that. If I find I need something after that it is on-line.

im with ya liz on that one... i cant stand the crowds. make me crazy! you can enjoy your holidays so much more once that is out of the way!

I'm with you. I've gotten five gifts already although all but one were through catalogs. I'll start really looking in the stores in September and I try to be done by December the latest.

I usually start in October as well. I may start earlier this year since we are saving for the wedding (which is only 2.5 months after X-mas) so I may begin to pick up some stuff that I think is a bargain

dec 22! i wouldnt be able to sleep for weeks! hahahaha. good for you. i think i stress over it too much in general...
tammy - i have our anniversary, then his bday, then xmas. dont ask what i am getting him. he's soooo hard!

I have started already. I actually started right after Xmas last year. Usually by Oct. I am usually done Xmas shopping.

I've started already! I like to finish by Thanksgiving - this way I have more time to enjoy the holidays - you know the parties, the decorating, making cookies! I wouldn't have any time for the fun stuff is I shopped in December!

ok... a couple of months ago..
i bought a few christmas gifts..

wine glasses, and a salad bowl... good deals couldnt resist...

right now im looking at ordering part of my Bridesmaids gifts and my wedding is a 15months away

Oh yeah I started! I got 4 of my cousins, 3 teacher aides, 2 of my friends, and a mother-in-law (to the tune of 12 days of christmas!)! I hope to finish by mid-thanksgiving (when I have to start testing my students for annual reviews).

of gosh no way....I am too busy wedding hunting Usually around oct/nov I begin. But with all I work now,,,who knows when I will have time. I need to be creative this year,,money's tight

I try to finish by T-giving weekend as well...otherwise I feel like I cannot enjoy the holiday spirit...if I am in a rush and people get in my way...I always find that Veterans Day is a good day to shop for xmas presents

I do have a list of what I am thinking about getting people
