Spinoff from Nancy Reagan......

Who is your favorite first lady? Since we haven't had a woman president yet, who has been your favorite woman behind the big man?

Mine is Eleanor Roosevelt. I have read so much on her, including her own writings. She was kind of this shy awkward young woman who really became a powerful public figure over the years. I think she was a head of her time in a way, and very intelligent. If I could meet one dead person, I think it would be her.

I love everything I read about Jackie Kennedy also. I did my Term Paper on her last semester. I feel really bad for her too at the same time.

Mine is Laura Bush. I just think she is the classiest looking first lady.

I work for a company that plans an Annual Dental Convention and every year we have a celebrity speaker at our meeting. Last year we had Barbara Bush, but I didn't get to meet her because her entrance into the Javits center was top secret. But anyways she's not one of my favorite first ladies so no big deal. We tried to get Bill Cinton for this year and he wanted $200,000.00 to speak. Can you imagine??? What nerve! I understand you have to pay for a celebrity speaker but 200 thousand dollars!!! Last year Mrs. Bush cost us only $50,000.00. So needless to say we will not be having Bill Clinton.
