spinoff from TEDNJEN's post...Do I invite my new coworkers?

Hey ladies, just a quick question. My wedding is in October and I just started a new job last month. I'm wondering if I should invite my new coworkers? I'm not especially close to any of them but I do like them all! There are 8 of us who work in the same dept.
Also, I'm already inviting TONS of people from my old job (where I worked for 8 years) and don't want a chunk of my guest list dedicated to people I work with. What do you think?

I think you definately have time to get to know your co-workers a little bit more before making a final decision. Im sure they are great people, but people can change in a few months.. believe me, I had/have the same issue and I am constantly taking people on and off my list. Your invites dont go out until a few weeks before the wedding... so I would suggest thinking about. Good luck!!

I've been going through the same thing. I just started a new job in October and while I do get along good with quite a few people here, I don't think we'll be close enough by the time I send out my invites to invite them to the wedding.

yes, i understand also - i started my job in august and have the same question. we still have a little time before sending invitations. i won't send anyone from work a save the date since i'm not sure yet. i think it's nice to invite someone if you work closely with them and have started a friendship. also your boss depending on the relationship...but it's different in every case so just go with your gut - and see if your budget and space allow for it.
