Yea we started as having a live band, a vienese hour, and a Sat night party as our 3 splurge items.
We ended up getting additional ceremony musicians and a jazz trio at our CH, which are definitley not necessity's. Now I am thinking of splurging a little more on flowers. Someone just take my checkbook away please!!!

i budgeted no more than $800-900 for our DJ...

yeah we spent more than $2K!!!!!

I thought I wanted a basic package - just music for 4 hours.

After going to a couple showcases and deciding that a basic package wasn't enough, I ended up getting CH music, DJ/MC, a percussionist, and a Sinatra singer!

hello, $2k later....

Worth it though. I love my DJ!

Yes the band,, Origionaly, i was like I am not spending more than $4k on music,,, Hi !! That statement went out the window once we saw them..

mmmm definitely the dress... i was going to stick to my $200 wedding dress that i bought from hong kong and decided to get a maggie

definitely my dress...NEVER planned on spending as much as was spent, but I am in love with it

My favors. Was budgeting $1 - $2 per favor. Well spotted a $6 favor I had to have, talked them down to $4.25.

For me, I thought I would be splurging a lot more in the beginning, but now that the bills are starting to come in, I am all about cutting back!!

no i just cant- im being really strict with myself on weddings- but dont get me wrong i find ways around it like DIY's and stuff. I do have to say though the one thing i might have spent extra and im not even talking by a lot are the invites

I dont think I am splurging on anything but I could of found some cheaper vendors. I did bargin with alot of them also. I tell myself I am paying for the quality. Im sure some are just overpriced.
