SPINOFF - How long did it take to get to 'I Love You'?
We started dating October 5th and he said it (ahem, excuse me - emailed it) the monday after thanksgiving weekend so less than 2 mos.

We started seeing one another in July. I said it in Feb. I was trying to hold off, but I just couldn't anymore. I think it wasn't until June when he finally said it!!! I can't believe I put up with that crap!!!
ETA: It was really cute when he finally said it. WE had been out one night and when we came back to his apartment, I was laying on the bed and he said he was going to draw me (he's a pretty good artist!)...so I posed for him and really looked like he was intently drawing me, but when he turned the pad of paper around it said 'I Heart You'

By the end of the first month I got he I love you. I knew the night I met him that I'd marry him. I can't believe that I thought that, but I REALLY did. I just knew it. He always says he knew I was THE ONE two weeks after we started dating, when I took the four hour train ride up to Boston to see him, then immediately jumped on a subway with all my bags to go to a Tibetan New Year party in Cambridge. He said any girl who would do that is worth marrying

We met in November, started 'going out' in January and he said over the phone, a month later that he loved me and had butterflies in his stomach as he said it.

DH and I were friends before we dated so I don't really remember when I said I love you to him and it meant something romantic.

We started dating in July too, and then in mid-August Mr Boots and I were driving home from the movies and he burst into tears! I asked what was wrong and he was all hiccupy and weepy, 'I-I-I-love-you-you-you-so-so-so-much'.
I said it back that night, but I was so shocked that I initially said 'Oh, it's okay!!'

ummm...2 years I did not want to be one of those high school couples who said I love you to someone different each month. So DH told me he wonders why we don't say it(this was in college) and I said save it for when you love me enough to consider marrying me, so then he said it.

We both said it 3 weeks after he asked me to be his gf... (6wks after our initial 'meeting') and haven't stopped saying it since.

well my DH and I dated for 3 months. moved in together on the 4th month. I got prego had my daughter...this year will be our 7th anniversary! We were very young we were 19 at the time and now we're both 25! I'm proud we've made it this far and for the record he said I love you first!

I guess Im the odd one...I didnt hear it up until a yr after and we were on/off for that time period. Just one of those relationships where he needed to find himself and figure out what he wanted and in the end result...it was always ME!

He said to me about 2 months into the relationship. Of course I replied immediately! I just knew from the day I met him he was 'the one'.
