i have just started looking for a veil and i see veils from $50 to $500. just want to find out what the average (if there's an average) cost is for a veil.

It's elbow length (shimmer tulle) two tiers and totally edged in like 1200 - 1500 swarovski crystals

I have 2 veils-fingertip & cathedral together they cost $210.
The tiara I want cost $211.
But veils can be all different prices--my friend's veil cost $1600--it was beautiful but not worth the money in my opinion for 1 day--it was the one that matched her dress

veils can be really expensive - the one that matches my gown costs $900! I went with something else but it was still pricey.

I won't spend a lot of money on a veil because after the ceremony it is coming off. The custom headpiece, however, was quite costly. The retail price was $600, brought down to $500 and my maid of honor paid for half of it as my wedding gift. It was a gesture of incredible friendship that I will never forget. I hope that someday, when she marries, she will like it enough that I can offer it back to her for her wedding day. If not, it will become an heirloom or made into jewelry.

Tiara - $90 Veil - $60
Got both at Tri-County and paid a lot less than what I've seen is available. Could have gotten both cheaper, but I love what I have!
