SPINOFF: Is anyone returning any gifts?

My FMIl got us these freaking HIDEOUS hats from kohls. I'm goign to post apic of a smilar hat but she got a cat for me and a dog for FH. it's the stupidest thing I've ever seen, and there are a few options

1) put them away and never wear them and waste space

2) bring them with us when we travel and tkae pics in them in front of like, the eiffel tower or someting...just to show how stupid they are (like a garden gnome)

3) give them to the poor

4) return them and put them toward something nice.

Since i'm basiclaly insulted by the stupid a$$ gift, I'm going for #4.
Now they're on sale, but we could get $20 for the two of them

I used to do a lot of returning. But, now I got a lot of things that I can't tell where they came from. And, I got A LOT of candles and bath and bady products that I know I can use or give away to my mom or MIL.

I don't think I'm going to do any returning this year. I just don't have the energy.

But, I am going to try to exchange some of my un-used registry items. It's just too much stuff that's still untouched.
