SPINOFF: Is it necessary to do favors for weddings?
some people suggested that wedding favors are 'expected' (not in a bad or greedy way, but some people just love wedding favors, or it is considered rude not to have them).
would making a donation to a charity be considered enough?? or another favor on top of the donation is expected?

I think it would be fantastic. You can just tie a few candies to the donation note.

IMO, making a donation to a charity instead of a favor is a WONDERFUL idea!! I might do that as well.

A donation would be fine - and you can add some sort of edible snack along with the note form the charity. That would be just fine!
