Re: SPINOFF: Last wedding.....
As far as the reception hall...Villa Lombardi's - That's why we chose it. From the decor to the food to the service. Everything was top notch!!!
As far as the fun I had...
My cousin's wedding almost 10 years ago. There reception was at Bruno's on The Boulevard in Brooklyn. The food was good, decor not really my taste but I had such a great time!!! Probably because I was able to bring a date. I brought one of my best friends and we had a blast!!!

Re: SPINOFF: Last wedding.....
My Aunt's Wedding out at the East Wind (but at Country Gardens). It was just the best time my family had at a wedding! PLUS the food is great!! Since then I have always dreamed of having a wedding there...but we are doing the Inn At East Wind instead...

Re: SPINOFF: Last wedding.....
I haven't been to a whole lot of weddings, but I have to say that my sister's wedding was the best wedding I've been too. I love all of my sisters to death and her wedding day was just so magical and special to me. She was a tad stressed before the whole day, but on the day of, she was so calm and excited- it was just wonderful to be around her and her husband. We had a great time from getting our hair and makeup done to last dance at the reception. She had her reception at Chateau La Mer and it was amazing. The food of course was excellent, but also everyone who worked ther was great and friendly.

hmmm...I'd have to say the one we went to at CLM, because the DJ was great we danced all night, the room looked gorgeous and the food was incredible.

I also haven't been to many weddings so I can't think of any that I considered the best.

The best wedding I have ever been to was one in Turks & Caicos. It was the most relaxed wedding ever.

Re: SPINOFF: Last wedding.....
I can't really choose. I had so much fun at two weddings because they were my best friends. One was at Smithtown Landing, and the other at Watermill. Honestly, in the end, I don't think the place itself matters that much, its the couple you remember.

Re: SPINOFF: Last wedding.....
i don't have a best wedding
my cousin's at giorgio's was nice (the place itself) but my cousin's music choices (BORING) and everything else made it really $uck...but then i went to one at the miller place inn where i had a bad experience with the place (my food wasn't good--left hungry, had to stop at a wendys) but the DJ was great so i danced my butt off... go figure!!
so i guess when i think about it the best was at the westbury manor b/c the DJ was 'ok' and i danced most of the night and the food was very good-- so far, that's the best but i guess b/c it's only going up against some bad experiences
b/c the DJ was really not so great...i think this summer should set my bar a lot higher (land's end in august, lombardi's on the sound a week later and chipriani's--or however you spell it-- in November)... YAY

Re: SPINOFF: Last wedding.....
I've been to a bunch of weddings. My friend got married in his BIL's backyard and it was a big BBQ with a pool...very cool. Very relaxed and fun and not stuffy at all.
My ex-boss had his wedding in Staten Island overlooking the cliffs at his house in his backyard under a tent. It was July 4 and they had fireworks and flowing Cristal. We danced our butts off and it was magical. Unique.
