FH and I were talking last night and we couldnt decide on something. He is a junior So we know if we are going to be Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Jr. and he stays Mr. Smith, Jr.
he thinks I become Mrs. Smith, Jr. but.... I think I am just Mrs. Smith
What is right??

I don't really know, but I think Mrs. Smith makes more sense....

I'm marrying a second. I have no desire to name our children to make a third, so I think we will just be Mr and Mrs. Inglima (plain). No 2nd after it, even though on other circumstances we probably were supposed to. I also think it's a matter of what you two decide to do. People are so liberal nowadays you have total control over what you want to do.

I married a Jr. and you dont carry the junior when you get married. So you would be just Mrs. Smith

The only time the junior would be used if lets say if you and his dad are invited to a wedding
THEN you would be Mr. & Mrs. John Smith Jr. as his dad would be Mr. & Mrs. John Smith Sr.
Otherwise, you are just Mr. & Mrs. Smith
But you as a wife...are always Mrs. Smith never ever Jr. after it when you are alone

well im greek and my fh is like the 22333949049309th person in his family to have had the name tommy-- and my name is a lot of my cousins names as well! We are all named after our grandparents so as the years go on it continues-- but no jr or sr or 3rd ---but as per mrs smith jr I agree just Mrs. smith
