You too could look like Felicty! Just don't cut your hair short if you don't like the perm. Your fans will go nuts! Your ratings will drop!

Seriously, I like spiral perms, because the curls go down, not out, like my bad, bad, perm of 7th grade.

My curls do go down not out - I have long layers - if you want to call it that - my first layer is actually by my shoulders.
With a spiral perm it is a matter of turning the rods vertically instead of horizontal so the curls spiral!

Can you tell I love my hair? I just keep talking about it - but seriously for the summer, its the best. Just wet your hair, through a little gel in and go!!

not as curly as i wanted it...i have to buy some product and get used to scrunching.

I have REALLY curly hair and I get it cut at Ouidad in the city. This place ONLY cuts cirly hair and they have their own special technique fo doing so. They also have their own products that make your hair so managable, even in this humid, rainy weather!!! Go to their website and do a curl profile. WWW.ouidad.com. Love the place, very expensive but the only recommend getting your hair cut 3-4 times per year. I'm a curly hair pro, feel free to ask me any questions, I have used every product and every technique and I'm only satisfied with Ouidad products and cut!!!

I have also been to this place and felt it was a bit of a scam. The fact that their 'styling tips' is to sit you under those hot light is not at all realistic to me. Who can do that every day? And after all that, they had me leave with my hair half-wet. And their sideways scissor-slicing or whatever the heck they do, made my hair thinner in a BAD way!! They talked me into buying their products, which I then returned to Ouidad herself! I did not have luck them at all. I have a soft curl and I think their techniques work more for people with kinky-curly hair. JMHO

I gotta say though, it is like being in the twilight zone in that place, all the customers looked just like me LOL
