Although I'm West Indian and most of our music will be reggae and Soca I refuse to have the Dj play 'Dutty Wine' and ' Hot Wuk' I would be sooooo embarrassed if my FHs parents see my friends doing those dances...I will never hear the end of it...lol

lol my dad and i ALWAYS danced it at family functions. It would be funny :)
well the good thing about the electric slide is... 30 seconds into the song... tthere are a few songs that fit the rhythm, so they can switch into a new song... and it actually matches the dance

we are doing some of the typical dances like electric slide, etc... but asking the dj no rap because my family sits down at parties and doesnt dance every time its played

Absolutely no group dance songs, ok there might be one-but that is only for my guy group of friends to dance to and they are all nuts-and we haven't picked out which song it will be

i put fh in charge of the music. im pretty easy going with whatever is palyed, but he is so into music that i know he will hae whole list of songs.
