'Spinoff' of Nina's Why I adore my Hall..... What makes you adore...

your Hall, or Ceremony site.
I'll start w/ The Nassau County Museum of Art...

I adore my garden museum site b/c I've always wanted to be married outside. The grounds are historic. And the landscaping is amazing.......(even if it rains the tenting still makes it look breathtaking)

i adore my rh b/c of the dome room- they way it looks when the day turns into night- amazing!!
I just love love love the room.
also my bm anthony is a sweetheart!
and you cant beat the price and food selection!!

I love all the flowers, and the huge cocktail room...my family is big on flowers and ambiance...and it suits us perfectly! My FH and I when we walked in, looked at each other, and mouthed, 'This is the place!' at the same time.

i love how when i walk up the entry way i get choked up-- EVERY time i go there, i walk inside and as i come in, i get tears in my eyes... that is a feeling that is priceless to me.

also, the CH room just takes your breath away. it is so DIFFERENT from every other place out there. it's like a garden/green room with flowers and plants everywhere-- tropical and pretty. it has a huge pond in the middle with a waterfall and a bridge that goes across it... the koi in the pond are beautiful... everything about the place is stunning. the grounds are GORGEOUS and i can take all of my pics there... not to mention that the main room, in opposition to the CH room, is very simple and elegant-- all white with tule strung on the ceiling and white lights around the tule... it's just very warm and simplistic. i love it!!!!

I absolutley love the view. The ceiling to floor windows that look out on to the water are incredible.

I love the renovations. The ballroom reminds me of a palace ballroom in Austria.

The BM was very easy to work with and didn't pressure us at all. He was very flexible.

Just one wedding on our day. We get the outside deck and 2 floors all night to ourselves.

I loovee all the windows at my place. I almost hope it snows because it would be such a gorgeous view.

It is so simple there. The decor is simple and modern. I didnt want lots of marble and glass that you find at LI reception places. Its just not my taste.

On a less romantic side, it is right next to a hotel so I dont have to worry about people drinking and driving.

I love that it has more of a modern, city feel to it. I love that the CH is upstairs overlooking the reception area and that the band has the area behind the bar..ahh..i just love love it!

Wow your the first bride to har say I hope it snows. But that's good you've turned bad weather to your advantage. Good for you

I love a lot of things about my hall...I love the look of the grandballroom... i love the fact thati have never tasted or heard about anyone ever eating anyting that didnt taste good there and my fav thing of all is that it caters only to one occassion at a time!!! That was one of my main priorities when looking for a hall

I love the Riviera because it's on the water, it has a great old wood bar and the people there are so easy to work with. Plus they gave us a chocolate fountain!

Can I play? I'm not on 07 much. My wedding was in 05 but my hall gets so little attention b/c it's a Temple:

I love it b/c it is so new and so nicely decorated and even the bathrooms are so pretty. I love the huge mahogany bar. I love the one affair at a time thing. And I loved the service and menu!!

I adore my hall because of the magnificent view of the great south bay. Also, the room itself, with it's big skylight, is so spacious and beautiful. On top of that the staff is the best!!!

I adore mine bc the reception room is all windows, you have a breathtaking view of the coast of Ireland as well as the atlantic ocean.

I love Flowerfields area for their cocktail hour! It's so pretty and inviting!
