***SPINOFF ON BUSTLES***

My dress (in my album) has an organza overlay.

I am really concerned with the type of bustle I need. I am worried the organza may rip half way through the reception. The overlay is very fragile and thin.

Any input on the best busle for my dress?

Not too sure what you had in mind, but if the ties for your buslte are attached well enough, then it should not matter too much that there is an organza overlay. I am not sure of what your skirt looks like exactly, but I know they try to place the ties in the seams.

I have an organza overlay also and I didn't even think of this issue.

Where are you having the bustle done? what store or seamstress?

I am going on July 16 to do the bustle. I did not talk to the seamstress yet but I am PRE thinking.

I like the look of underneath pull bustles (French, etc..) vs. visible over the skirt bustles with buttons.

I am worried that the underlining will will fine with the ties but the top overlay rip. That would mean only the inner layer is bustled but the overlay is not and drags on the floor.
