*Spinoff on what will you do with your gown after the wedding...

What are you doing with your gown after the reception? I've heard that a lot of brides don't wear the gown to the hotel where they are staying for the night but bring a change of clothes and send the dress home with the family so they don't have to worry about it.

Just wondering what everyone had planned on doing?

I am stopping home before we go to the hotel and change. We are taking a 8am flight the next day.

Wearing it all night will take it off when i finally get home or a hotel have not decided yet on my night of stay

I will wear it to the hotel I don't leave for my HM until the following week.

same here....we're going straight to the hotel and then we are going home from there so it isn't too big a deal for us

All of our family and most of our friends will be staying at the hotel with us so that's where my dress will be too.

I wore mine to the hotel - to the bar where we had an afterparty. That dress was a lot of money, and I figured it was my one chance to wear it, I was going to get as much use out of it as possible!!
