I am a little confused...when you get dressed, can't you go into the bathroom to actually put your dress on? Or as your photographer to briefly step into another room. Rather than going through the trouble of wearing clothes while putting on the dress?

Definitely. You'd probably be more comfortable just asking your photog to step outside, that way you have lots of room. He/she could mill about and take other shots while they wait, of the location, etc. I'm sure they're used to it! Do what makes you comfortable!

You can, but I didn't want to miss a shot of the zipping up...since my dress didn't have a zillion buttons, just a zipper...it was all be over in 30 seconds flat.

I didn't want my photog in there until I was dressed. I made it clear to him. He still showed up early, but my BM kept him out. You can make any demands you want, as long as they're legal.

I really don't mind them being there, I just saw posts about people seeming to be shy. So I wondered why not just have them step out. But the point about it being a quick zip, makes sense.

i had 4 different photographers there. 2 women and 2 men. so the 2 women stayed in the room and the two men stepped out. it worked out nicely, and u know what we are all girls so i didnt care about her seeing me put my corset on! LOL

I didn't think of this ahead of time nor discuss it with anyone and when it was time for me to put my dress on I was like 'ok, I'll be right back!' and I went into the bedroom area of the hotel suite with my mom and then all of a sudden when my dress was being zipped up my photographer and videographer were in there. I guess it sort of worked itself out.

I had two photographers (one woman and one man) and only had the woman in there when I got dressed. I didn't care what she saw... obviously she knew when to take pics and when not to!

I got into my slip and bra without the photographer (he stepped out) and we called him in once i had the dress on, but not laced up or buttoned. So he got all those shots, but none of me in my undies

He took photos of me getting ready (MU and Hair)... left the room for me to put my dress on. and asked for it to be left half unzipped.
We took photos of my dress being zipped up. We just staged it. As well as my veil.
