I bent down to pick something up and out it went. We were rolling on the floor laughing. Luckily this was already like 5 months into the relationship.

i have NEVER let one slip yet in front of him LOL and it's been over 4 yrs. he on the other hand obviously has no shame and has been doing it since the beginning

Same here...5 years and hasnt happened...have no clue how

my dh has no shame, i try to not do it in front of him bc if i do he laughs at me all night long, and then he eggs me on and says come do it again.

but i think we where dating for almost a year , we where driving in the car and my belly wasnt feeling good and i was trying to hold it in, but i couldnt and he laughed the whole way home,

isn't thay awful they can toot all freakin day if they wanted to and it's okay but if we innocently pass gas they make the biggest deal

FH always makes comments about how women aren't supposed to do things like that!

yet the men have contests to see who can do it the loudest and longest!!!!-- it starts at a young age to- my son came over to me and i thought was sunggling up to me and farted on me- laughted all the way back to his room- my fh was rolling on the floor!!

Better to let it out and feel the shame then to hold it in and feel the pain:)

I am worse than FH although he had one slip in the bedroom (if you get what I mean). His answer was 'woops'.

He destroys the bathroom though when he does go, but at least he lets me use it first.

I have a bad stomach and many problems, so I can get bedridden if I do hold it in. He prefers that I let it out than suffer. He has seen how bad I get, to the point where I need to lay in a fetal position. I can't remember the first time, it has been awhile.

At first, if I had to, I would clap over the noise. He would get a kick out of it because he knew what I was doing. But that was back in the day when we were tip toeing around eachother. Now, if I have to, I let it rip. Sorry, but it's true. Hey.....why are we all on a $hit kick tonight anyway?

Well after 6 years together i do it all the time. He thinks its the funniest thing ever. He said its human nature!

FH is the same way - he pestered me the first two weeks we were living together to 'let one rip' already. Actually encourages it. We're both a couple of farting machines.

haha..i only did it ONCE and i died!! FH tucked me in to bed (I live with my parents) and went downstairs to leave...i had held it in the entire time he was over, and after he went downstairs and i thought the coast was clear, i let it out (really loud! ) All of a sudden, FH flies into my room and is like 'DID YOU JUST FART?!' (apparently my mom asked him to go back upstairs and turn the air conditioner off!) I denied it and played dumb until he came closer into my room, and i screamed, 'OK, OK, I DID!!! GET OUT!' He was HYSTERICAL laughing and told every one we know...he thought it was hilarious...that was about a year and a half into our relationship and i have NOT done it since!!! However, i do have massive stomach issues and have to go to the bathroom all the time, and he's ok with that...before he met me, he was one who believed girls don't fart or poop!

FH and his friends have actually made a game out of it - if you let one go, you have to call 'Safety'. If you don't, whoever is around can call 'Knobs' on you which involves punching the offender until they touch a doorknob. I don't know WHERE they thing this stuff up!

It's funny because of course now I'm in the habit and I'll be at my parents house and without thinking I'll just call 'Safety!'

You girls are making me laugh soooooooooooooooooooo hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never consciously done it yet ((i'm sure in my sleep maybe?? Yikes!!!! But I can't be held accountable for that)). FH never does it either. We must be the most up-tight couple ever LOL We are so proper about that kind of stuff!

us too!!!
we have been together over ten years and living together for almost four months and i have NEVER let it slip in front of him

he slipped in front of me ONCE and he looked at me with such horror and couldnt stop apologizing! i never ever brought it up again!!!

and i have a TERRIBLE stomach too - so it really is amazing.
