Hey ladies OK I have to plan my sister's bachelorette party. She's totally not into the wild stripper and bar /club scene so that's out.
ANYWAY I don't know what to do? Any good ideas?

Hi Lools, You could plan a spa day with the bridal party and her close friends. You could go into NYC and see a musical. You could also take her out to The Cheesecake Factory. I totally understand how she feels. I am 32 and I not interested in the bar/stripper stuff. I hope that I helped you out a little. Any other questions FM me.

I have thought of all those things too!
The only problem is that some of them can get pricey, like the spa and even seeing a show.... what's an average amount each girl spends on a bachelorette party??

we're taking my friend to The Melting Pot for fondue. It's a pricier restaurant, so we're mostly going to get things to split and if the anyone wants a full meal, they'll have to pay for themselves (except for the bride of course!)

We are doing a wine tour....there is a company that will send a limo and take you to the wineries out east. They also pack a picnic lunch for you. We are then having a girls' night at a friend's house. Check this out: LI Wine Tours

Wine tasting is a really great time...and as expensive as you want it to be ie. if you had a limo take you guys from vineyard to vineyard.
Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun is also really fun
Never can go wrong with a nice dinner out either!

We are going to see the Awesome 80's Prom. You can get tickets for like $40 or $50, so it's not too expensive.

Some ideas I liked: wine tasting tour LI, booth in lounge (not club), comedy club, 1 night cruise from NYC harbor, renting hotel in times square for 1 night & having a girl's night.
What I'm doing: my 'secret' party: the un-official for my best girls (MOH and sis): a weekend in Ft Lauderdale on the beach (NOT as expensive as any of the above options). My 'official' party will be with a TON of ppl: snacks at my place & then heading over to something like a lounge.

Jen that sounds awesome! When's your party? You definitely have to give us a full report!

I looked this up and showed it to my sis. She loves it! Great idea! Thanks!
We'll save the wine tasting for my bachelorette party!

have u ever heard of that chef guy that hosts bachelorette parties? U do it at ur house and he comes and does a cooking lesson... you guys can have like an at home cooking party & then do a pampering party... like when we were 10

if you're into a weekend away, im probably going to Club Getaway in Connecticut. It's like camp for adults. they have all crafty programs during the day and dance lessons, water sports. then at night they have bars and clubs. cost included lodging, food and wine at dinner. i hope thats what i get to do!
