What era/year would you have loved to live in??

i LOVED the 20s... I love looking at pictures of NYC in teh 20s... even 30s, it was such a simple time back then, and people didnt have so muich chaos in their lives

Was the 20's the flapper years? My sis loves that year.

For me I think the 40's or 50's. My parents were born then. They didnt have things back then like we have now.

And I like the 70's. I see pics and I was like WOW. Thats when the world was sane, except for the son of sam

I always said I should have been born in that era. I love the roaring 20's. My Great grandmother came here by boat from italy.....passed through ellis island...with .my grandmother ., and when she told me stories my eyes would light up!

i agree - i always wonder what it was like for my grandmother when she was my age. it just intrigues me.

I would say the 1950's

It's so silly, but I love to cook and bake. So the idea of women staying home to be mothers and having a warm meal ready when the husband comes home sounds fun to me. Kind of like the movie Pleasantville. Just a simple time.

Although I love today where women work and can hold their own

WOW i am going to go far back compared to everyone...i would say a few thousand years BC...i love egyptian history so would have loved to been around during the time hatshepsut ruled egypt, which btw is a woman for those who don't know. Maybe during the renaissance, medieval times things like that lol

the only thing that scares me about that time period is that if we lived during that time then we would have to deal with our husbands going off to war

I didnt think about going back to BC, lol. But now that I think of it, I would love to go back to Ancient Greece, where the Gods roamed. Everytime I go to the Acropolis, I cry

i was thinking about that right after i posted, that was a great time too.

But then i think about certain things and its like wait would i really want to live during that time, not regarding greece but all the things i mentioned such as medieval times, egypt and all that lol...maybe go back in time and visit just to see how it was lol

i am obsessed with tudor england and the elizabethan era and anything writting by jane austen so i'd go back to england during the 1400s-1700s.

i also think those dresses would be much more figure flattering with my huge hips and small waist

i would love to try on one of those dresses one day, i probably wouldnt be able to breathe in it lol but would be fun to try
