Spinoff to 'Are your bms going to be at your house?' Where is FH staying the night before the wedding?
FH & I will be living together before we get married but I'm not letting him see me on our wedding day until I walk down the aisle. He'll have to stay over at his parents house the night before.

He'll be at his parents...he'll be on a strict route because our new hosue is 2 blocks from his parent's house.....he won't be allowed to pass our block the morning of to assure him not seeing me!

FH is staying at the Wingate Inn the whole week before the wedding..lol We are kicking him out of the house that whole week. I don't want him to see my dress.

I as well 'live in sin'! I am going to stay at the Hotel with the BM's and he is staying at his best man's house.

I know I'm going to get clobbered for this.....but we may actually spend the night before together, just like every other night (we live together as well). We're going to have our rehearsal on Thursday night (wedding on Sat night). I don't know, it's strange cause we both feel this way, it's not one of us pushing it on the other.....it's just how we feel. Haven't told our parents yet...I'm sure we'll get the requisite...'You CAN'T do that!!'

I was actually thinking of doing the same thing...I have no clue what else to do since he doesn't have a home base here. Maybe have him stay in the hotel and I'll stay at my parents?

That's an option if you don't really want to spend the night together. With us it's not like neither of us has another place to go. I could go a number of places, so could he...but we want to stay together that night.

He will be at our future house getting dressed with his groomsmen (including my brothers), my father, and his father..

You should do what you both want to do, not what everyone else tells you to do. FH doesn't really have a choice in this. He's getting kicked out for the night FH is very traditional and he probably wouldn't want to stay over, although he'd miss his bed. He's supposed to get ready at his parents that morning anyway, so him being there the night before isn't a big deal.

I will sleep at my parents house and he will be at his parents. I do not want to see him AT ALL before i walk down the aisle.

Thanks. Yeah, see we're very non-traditional and we both like to sleep in our own bed too...we're ridiculously attached to our bed. But I think it's more of, we comfort each other most and I think that week, especially the night before is going to be so stressful and we'd much rather be with each other than anyone else. Also, we're taking pictures before the ceremony as well, so it's not like he wouldn't see me until I walk down the aisle anyway. We'll already have all that out of the way.

We live together, and will spend the nite before in our house, and we will get ready together in the house as well. Then the limos will come, and take us to OWG along with our BP to take pics before

FH and I are spending the night before the wedding in our own house in our own bed! I want to get as much sleep as possible in my comfy bed and I sleep best when FH is beside me. Plus the guest room at my parents has a twin size bed and I've fallen off of it before!

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one. We were contemplating getting ready together as well. I think it will be fun. I was thinking once it's time to put my dress on, I'll go in a separate room to do that and come out for the 'big reveal' so we can get that on photo and video. yay! I'm happy I'm not alone now!
