In my parent's finished basement! I'm sure mom would rent it out to you for a fee.

My aunt had a brunch shower for my cousin in Bayside...I forget what it was called

Actually we had one for her bridal shower too...the place was really nice. It was in Queens. Is that too far?? Its off of the Jackie Robinson

Re: Spinoff to BRUNCH SHOWER

I'm working on getting mine organized -- my MOH and I have been 'interviewing' places, which basically means we get to eat lots of carbs on the weekend and justify it as 'research'

I've heard good things about Milk & Sugar Cafe in Bay Shore. One of my BMs went to a shower there and said they set it up really well.

I realized that I sort of have to have my shower in NYC though (too many family members coming from other states) so Milk & Honey wasn't an option for me. I went to Alice's Tea Cup on the Upper West Side a few weeks ago and the food was amazing!!! They have the BEST scones, tea sandwiches and desserts. They have so many different kinds of tea as well. There's a private back room that you can reserve. It was a little on the small side which is the only real problem. I think it can fit a MAX of 20.

Our next stop is going to be Lady Mendl's Tea Salon which I've heard great things about on here and The Knot.
