yes...I am at that point where the few have turned into many...

someone suggested to me...to just get a bottle of hair color that is my shade or maybe one shade lighter...and individually dye those strands...

what do you guys do?

I have been coloring my hair for so long I don't even know if I am gray

I don't think so though, my mom didn't turn gray until about 70.

My mom starting going gray at age 16... leaving me... guess where? Yep, I color the whole head, with root touch-ups. I like Feria but lately I've been using Garnier Nutrisse. It smells good, believe it or not!

I may be coloring to cover gray, but I've been coloring my hair for so long that I'm not even sure if I have any grays yet!

Yes, I do. I don't just get strands....the whole head is going gray. If I were to let it go I'm sure in 3 months from now I'd be pretty much salt/pepper grey.

I color the whole head. I have to. And I get it professionally done. I've stained way too many shirts and towels doing it myself.

I do! I buy my color at a beauty supply store and my hair dresser applies it for me, full head: 3 times per yr, roots: every 4 weeks!

You would not believe the amount of gray there is on my head!
I started noticing them at around 20....and now, 8 years later......they take up at least 50% of my head.
So I dye it myself because I don't have the money or the time to go to a salon....and since i was dying it - i figured i'd go for a color, so i'd go red!!

i would go gray with dignity...but my face looks so young that I look strange with gray hair....
