did you gals bring pix of dresses u wanted to try on or liked so they had an idea of your style?
I brought pictures (less than 10)... it helps get things started. But don't let that restrict you or the consultant! I went to a few places that just brought me dresses like the ones I had pics of... which was great! But it helps to see diversity... I swore up and down that I wouldn't be getting a dress with pick-ups. But one of the consultants I worked with told me to just try on this one dress with pick-ups and to trust her... What happened? I ended up putting down a deposit on that dress last week! I couldn't love it more!
usually before I even make appts, I try to find places that have a couple of dresses I am interested in or one I am really interested in. Once I make the appt, I look up the designers the store carries and bring some pics of things I like in to see if they have any of those. Either way with the pics, they get a general idea of what kind of style you are looking for and maybe another designer might have something similar.
I brought pictures so they would get the idea of what I liked. I also brought the names/style numbers of actual dresses I wanted to try on. More often than not, they didn't have them available but places like Paradise Bridal and Village Bridal really *got* my style and helped pick some great options!
