Just a random thought - I've been listening to the '90's station on my sirius radio and saw this post and click....let's post things we recall about the '90s - ie phrases, clothing styles, things we did for fun!!!
I'll start - I remember giving (and receiving) my friends a pair of colorful boxers from the Gap with a matching t-shirt and scrunchie for birthdays circa 1991.........

i used to wear my (overweight) brother's jeans with a huge belt and a itty bitty baby T with a huge flannel over it
i was H O T
ummm and we matched u kno bad flannel in the back of the room in italian class....

What about Doc Marten's? I remember I had a pair of black ones and I would even wear them with shorts!! EWWW!!!!!
Overalls but with one off the straps unclipped. lol!!

i know its so stupid...One thing i never understood was remember how everyone would walk around with their jackets hanging off their shoulders, it was the cool thing, and to be cool you had to put just one strap of your bookbag on your shoulder

overalls with a baby tee and one side unhooked.
leggings and HUGE oversized champion sweatshirt in EVERY color.. with matching socks and high-top black converse sneakers...
every color low convers sneakers covered in paint, marker, friends signing <-- MATILDE i think i may have my convers with matilde n debb BFF!!! that your wrote !!!
ummm boxers , sewn crotch, black tights with a tucked in champoin tee that matched...
how god awful is ALL OF THIS>>> sooo embrassing...
