Mine was a french bustle, done with ribbon ties. I think it was 14 points?
I highly recommend a ribbon tie bustle, mine stayed up almost the whole night (we just had to tighten the ties once)

My dress has a mini bustle which is permanent for walking down the aisle (this is me in the sample).
Then afterwards it will be put into a double french, this is what I want it to look like:
