We are, but my parents are paying for the photography so I can't really consider the albums their 'gifts' if they're paying for it

my parents paid for about 75% of the wedding, so we wanted to get them something in addition to the album for all their help and support. dh's parents didn't contribute so i just got them the parent album.

That's it. Maye I'll get my mom one of those handkerchiefs to mark the occasion and also a framed photo of me and her on the wedding day. Our parents are not paying for the wedding, so they will understand that we can't afford big gifts for them. If they were paying, then i guess I might consider spending $
