we all have something (or somethings) that we obsess over and maybe wish could be better...who does it bother more...you or your signficant other? is anyone here the 'opposite' of their S.O.'s 'type'?

It definitely bothers me more! DH tells me I look perfect and to get over my insecurities (easier said than done), while I obsess over them. I'm definitely my own harshest critic, although I think DH is his own harshest critic too (I think he is perfect, and he will complain about not working out enough, etc).
ETA: DH didn't really have a 'type' before me (he said he would give anyone a chance - thanks guy ). DH is SOOO not my type

I'm exactly DHs type and he's totally mine. He doesn't 'see' my flaws. I've gone on and on about getting a nose job, etc., and he gets really upset when I criticize the parts of my body that I hate.

Sigh...you know, I guess it comes down to being careful what you wish for... My beloved FH is aware of everything. And he totally cares more about my flaws more than I do! So i'm about 20 pounds overweight - I still look DAMN GOOD! So I get a pimple every now and then - that is what MAKEUP is for.
He makes what he calls 'observations.' 'I'm just observing - not judging.' He says. So I let him know that I am 'OBSERVING' him being a complete jacka$$ and totally insensitve and to keep his 'observations' to himself. He can so BITE ME! Yet when I make digs at myself he trips all over himself to remind me how beautiful I am. Freak!
It's annoying because he is no gorgeous hunk! He is the qunitisential computer geek! AAAAAAAAAARGH! Boys are stupid!

Without a doubt it would be ME...I critique myself way too much about the littlest thing and feel like others critique me the same way I do myself.
My FH is great with making me feel better about my 'flaws' though!

Definitely me. My FH tells me I'm beautiful and has always been supportive and vice versa. He doesn't like it when I'm critical of myself.

I am self conscious that I am pear shaped. Very small up top...32A and big butt.....FH LOVES it and gets annoyed when i drop weight. I guess thats a good thing!!

My Fh loves my shape and even though I ahve gained a lot of weight since I met him, he still loves me and thinks I am perfect
I don't think I could be with someone who pointed out my flaws. it's ok for love to be a little blind sometimes

I am much more critical...although the other night I had really short shorts on and DH goes...'what are those purple lines on your thighs' - I was like, 'they are broken blood vessels, and never EVER say anything about them again!'

My flaws bother me more than him. He never notices extra weight I gain or things like that. I totally obsess over things like that.
