my advice, sign onto lifamilies.com and come over to the home board. There is a lot of posts about school districts and areas.

I looked at MLSLI and their school district reviews by percentages.

If you want personal opinions, talk to the girls on the LIF home board. There are a lot of threads on the areas SD's

i tell all of my buyers to go to www.greatschools.net. That seems to be the most popular. Good luck! FM me if you have questions about the buying process.

Re: spinoff to homeowner question

be careful of only going by test scores and percentages. i've worked in several districts where i know first hand how the kids and programs are...but they 'excelled' according to test scores. it was far from the truth and i feel bad if people move to that district because it seems good. your best bet is to talk to actual people who live there and to use scores and the like simply for guidance. be careful also of asking for opinions on LIF...there are some very sensitive people who freak out if their district is mentioned in a bad light....so therefore no one says anything negative (happened to me so now i keep my mouth shut over there!)
