Spinoff to how long a dress really takes...Any Jasmine Brides?
How long does it take for their gowns to come in? I am getting a Jasmine Haute Couture gown, and when I sked the shop how long it takes to come in, the saleslady said 'Oh, we'll have it here 2 mos before the wedding so you have time for fittings'
The thing is I plan on ordering it next month, and my wedding is not until June '06. So what, are they going to hold my $ and order?

My gown is a Jasmine Couture and it took 7 months to come in. (The store had told me it would take about 6-8 months.)

I also have a Jasmine Couture dress. I ordered it in Dec and it is being shipped this week. So it took about 4 months.

Mine took 5 months to come in. I would think they would order it when you go there because what if it get's discontinued?

I ordered my Jasmine Couture gown and had it custom made to my specifications. They can change anything you want on the gown. I took the train off because I did not want a big bustle in the back. I also had extra length because I am 6 feet tall.
My gown took three months. They did an excellent job and I know it will look beautiful. I got it at The Elegant Bride in Albertson. They will hold it until I am ready for my fittings. I already visited my dress twice!
