for verizon

this lady is like 'it works in the west village, east village, uptown, downtown , soho tribeca!!!'

makes me want to throw my radio across the room!

Ok seriously, I really hate it when I hear commercials for condoms or something like that. I mean, when we've got FH's daughter sitting in the car with us and one of those comes on we just can't change the station quick enough!!!!! She's 9 y/o and doesn't need to be hearing that.

These radio stations should be a lil more aware that a CHILD might be listening to the radio on a Saturday afternoon, it's not like I'm talking about 3am on a school night here. And personally, I'm not too keen on hearing them come on when I'm in the car with my mom either...

There are these commercials for the Thursday night lineup on NBC that drive me nuts - they're supposed to sound like a generic morning show talking about how they're so excited to watch NBC this week!

I agree, I hate those commercials, doesnt NBC know that these commercials are xtra cheesy sounding or is that what they are trying for?

And the stupid supermarket one where the kid is fingerpainting with the dad... and the parents' voices are SO forced and fake. Especially the dad saying 'I'm gonna get you... ' Ugh... I want to STAB my radio!!!

I also hate those empire carpet commercials, very annoying.

One that I havent seen in quite awhile (maybe everyone else hated it and they took if off??)
was the one for listerine where they show the guy gargling with it for 30 seconds, and he looks like he is trying so hard on concentrating for the 30 seconds, I always had to turn it off b/c it bugged the crap out of me!

the other day my FH said - 'why dont we just call empire for carpeting?' and i seriously turned to him and sang '1-800-588-2300 empire...today' (the little jingle @ the end of that commerical) and was like - THAT COMMERICAL IS HORRIBLE - and he was laughing @ me that i sang the dumb song.

so i agree - empire carpet makes me sing bad jingles so i dont like it.
