So Jess was posting about how she will feel when she signs checks with her new name.. and I have thought about how strange it will be to have to write something different than I have been writing all my life... Does anyone practice writing out their new names? I have done it once or twice but I find it totally strange and can't do it.

i was good until an aunt said have i signed the wrong name. the next day i go to the bank and sign the wrong name. the bank just had me write my new name next 2 it

I have been practing my new name I am sure that I may write the old last name by accident in the begining.

I've practiced it a few times. It doesn't look weird to me, but it sounds weird. I know that the class I am teaching will continue to call me Miss N. Maybe my next class will learn the new name!
