spinoff to jewelry thread- opinions needed!!!

spinoff to jewelry thread- opinions needed!!!

with this type of neckline, necklace or no necklace....

I was thinking of something very high up- like not lower than my collar bone, or a choker like on the model, or not wearing one at all what do you think?

I think the choker works best with that type of neckline...

I don't think you need a necklace Jess. Just some fabulous earrings and a bracelet and you're good to go.

Definitely something high around the neck...your bodice is very detailed.

My honest opinion (biased of course) - I HATE chokers...everything about them...they shorten your neck.

With your dress, I would go with something close to the collar bone, and something dangling from the middle. Very simple.

i agree with christine it should be higher on the neck howeve the shape of the necklace should follow the neckline.

the short neck problem I do not have- mine is actually VERY long...people say it's my best feature, which is why it would make sense to play it up.....but after a while, chokers get annoying....

I like what your describing....find me one! LOL I suck at jewelry shopping!

eta- in my avatar pick you can sort of see the distance bet. my chin and shoulders...sometimes fh calls me Ostrich! boys!

I vote earrings and bracelet as well - something sparkly.

It will make that beautiful neckline appear even more dramatic, and not compete with it.

I can't handle chokers - especially for that length of time.
