I need some 'old school' Oro Solido and Victor Manuel, Gilberto Santa Rosa...whatever was HOT in the late 90's and I was in college.
That's all I'm specifically asking for...I have a live percussionist so I'll let the DJ decide what showcases that best.

O yea and Grupo Gale(sp?) I'm not having bachata because none of my guests care for it lol. O La Banda Gorda they were hot awhile back. Definitely Oro Solido i totally forgot lol. I was going to have Latin jazz during cocktail hour, so thats an idea. Ooo El General!!

ok so after Michael Buble first dance we are having dj play 'algo en tu cara me fascina' Elvis Crespo. i think it fits the start this party vibe and the lyrics are cute for the occasion.
my mom is huge fernandito villalona fan so i have to throw of that style in. other than that - I HATE bachata and regeaton so im thinking mostly old school salsa and merengue.
Oro solido Wilfrido Vargas Hector Lavoe (che che cole, love that song)
one or two juan luis guerra songs during cocktail hr would be cool too!

Everytime I go to a company function or a 'mainstream' event and they play the 5 minute Spanish segment....it's always 'Suavemente'. How old is that song? Here you go girls!

FH only knows about this song too. I think he thinks it is the spanish people anthem I said NO right away. He claims he is going to dance with my stepmom when that song comes on
