I use different liquid ones but eventho they clean the clothes/linens I feel like they are taking away from the colors - like my whites are now ivory . my mom said there is a detergent or an add on that mixes w/detergent that keeps the colors but she has it in Israel so I dont know which one to buy here.
any help? I really need it as my DH's 'wife-beaters' are looking more trailer trashy with every load

we use the tide WE powder
its okay. the clothes are great.. but the scent is overwhelming.

laundramat in my bldng's basement so I just buy regular bleach or is there a special one for laundry?

i love Suavatel its soooo cheap and makes my clothes smell so fresh.
they hjave it in detergant and fabric softener
I use lemon clorox for bleach

i dont bother with bleach for colors.
its meant for whites. thats what i use it for.
same here. but for stains, oxy clean is good!

yes, clorox bleach and the oxiclean powder. I use to only use the bleach however i feel that the oxiclean does make them brighter. I put my machine on and stop the cycle right before it changes to 'rinse'. This is how my MIL always did his shirts and she has the whitest whites i have every seen

I use Tide w/ Downy and then Bounce in the dryer. Clothes smell amazing
