spinoff to name change

So I have 2 checks left. I don't want to order a whole new box with my maiden name, but I need more than two checks between now and oct...

If I order checks with my current name, how long can I keep using them once I change my name?

Pretty sure you can use them for a while, or you could just cross off the old name and write in the new one.

I have checks still with my old home address that I haven't lived at for over 4 years.....haven't had a problem.

i had the same problem (except i had 5 months till the wedding at that point) ... i ordered new checks with my current name only to find a brand new checkbook in my drawer the day the new ones arrived

as the others said, you can use these checks as long as you want ... the bank looks at the account num, not the name / address

Same here. I think it will be fine to use those checks.

I want my new name on them, though....

BUT i just found that vista print does checks... free for 25 of them... that'll be good until Oct....
