I am wondering - is the amount of time you dated before getting engaged proportionate to your ages?
For example- those who dated for many years b4 getting engaged- did you meet when you were young?
So give the age you met and the age you got engaged-

We were 25 when we met, 26 when we got engaged. Will be 28 when we get married. (we are the same age)

FH brought up marriage after about 3 months of dating (about 1 month after we became exclusive since I was dating others at the time ). We started engagement ring shopping at month 8 and I got the ring after 11 months.

I agree that the 'courting' period is shorter for older couples.
