Did you discuss what you wanted with FH or did he get creative? If he got creative, did he get it right? What was your dream ring?
I always talked about how I wanted a cushion cut (I saw Leanne Rimes ring a few years ago and LOVED it). But I also secretly wanted a diamond band as well but didn't say anything because I thought it would be too much money. But FH got it with the cushion cut AND the diamond band! He got it exactly right.

I always hinted that I loved a Princess cut. He chose it on his own and got it DEAD ON! It is amazing, and I love it!

I kept putting pictures in his underwear drawer...I think he got the point
He actually picked a ring different then the pics, but it's even BETTER than anything I had ever saw. I just knew I wanted princess cut with diamonds going down both sides. He picked a beautiful setting and I absolutly love how the diamonds are raised and seperated going down the sides

FH wanted to be sure I would love what he got me - he must have been asking me for over a year what kind of ring I would want.
One day, he told me to see if I could find any pictures of rings I liked online. I went to engagementrings.net and designed my own ring and emailed it to him. Then one day, he called me from work and said I need you to email that ring you like to this email address - don't ask me ANY questions.
The jeweler he had me email the ring to made it exactly how I wanted it! I love it.

I never hinted to FH what type of ring I wanted. The subject of marriage never really was discussed. So, I was totally floored when I got engaged. And, for the ring he nailed it.

I never told him what type of ring I wanted but I hinted that my finger was itchy. I really wanted a cushion cut solitare in an antique like setting. ( the tiffany legacy engagment ring is gorgeous) However, I got a three stone princess cut ring with small roud side diamonds in a beautiful setting. At first it was a little strange because I always imagines a solitare, but I love it because it is so different from what you normally see.

he just asked a while ago what shaped diamond and i just told him the kind i did not like and to stay away from lol...but he did amazing!!!!!!! love love my ring

Only hinted to the kind I wanted He picked it out completely on his own (brought a guy friend of his with him) lol But I have no idea how much it costs, how many carats it is, slarity and all that stuff...doesnt really matter to me to be honest, he picked it out perfectly, and its exactly the type that i would have chosen. He did a good job consiering I dont like that much stuff he picks out for me

I had sent pictures here and there & told him to go with what he liked....He knew I wanted a round cut diamond and he got the EXACT ring I wanted! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect e-ring!

THIS is my dream ring!! He had in the past asked wht I wanted, and I gave him ideas, then last January I noticed on his computer that he was looking at rings. When I asked him about it, he was like 'I'm looking at rings, so tell me what you definitely want'...and I gave him the OK magazine w/ Katherine Heigl's wedding pics, and the pic of her engagement ring. He had his jeweler make it. He proposed 7 months later and to my surprise it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! I still stare at it in awe..

I went with FH BEFORE we got engaged and designed me ring. Then it was up to him to surprise me.

I beat FH over the head with it for about 2 years, which is why it took him as long to buy it and propose, spiteful little monkey that he is lol. So needless to say, I got exactly what I wanted, the classic Tiffany style.

I don't think it's my dream ring because It was not my first pic when we went shopping 4 yrs ago. When we officially decided it was time the ring I choose I fell in love with and will not trade it for anything. FH picked the stone and size and I can't wait to put it on everyday
I knew I wanted an Asher cut and I told him. I also knew I wanted micro pave. I thought I wanted a very thin setting but when we went to try some on I didnt like the way it looked on me. As soon as I saw this other setting I fell in love... turns out thats the one FH picked before I went to look with him. I LOVE my ring and its exactly what I wanted.

One day I was bored at work so I was playing around with some website to make your own ring...sure enough I emailed it to him. He got it pretty much right on, only I created one with 5 stones princess cut but he only got 3. But I wouldn't change a thing about it. I love it...and the fact that he remembered so much about it is great!

I picked it out!! Which is funny cause lately I am not sure i got the right one and wish he would have just picked it out so I wouldn't feel so compelled to get a new one...I will never change my diamond tho. He picked that out and he did an amazing job... the other day we were in a store and I asked him what setting he would have got me if i didnt pick one out and he showed me a few things and they were all beautiful so he would have done a great job.

I picked out my setting and my center stone belonged to my greatgrandmother SO FH had it pretty easy.

We went ring shopping because he wanted to see the styles I liked. When we were in the diamond district we came across a setting I absolutely fell in love with. FH told me that he didnt think it was the right one for me ( I learned later he did that because he saw how much I loved it and wanted it to be a surprise) He secretly went back to that jeweler and got the setting and he picked out a beautiful center stone! I LOVE my ring!
