Did you discuss what you wanted with FH or did he get creative? If he got creative, did he get it right? What was your dream ring?
I always talked about how I wanted a cushion cut (I saw Leanne Rimes ring a few years ago and LOVED it). But I also secretly wanted a diamond band as well but didn't say anything because I thought it would be too much money. But FH got it with the cushion cut AND the diamond band! He got it exactly right.
he knew I always wanted a pear because its what my mother has and I LOVE that its different...I had told him that I LOVE pave bands as well nd he did amazing....definitely my DREAM ring. He did a lot of searching from NYC to LI and all in beween to find THE ONE...a gorgeous stone....and the most perfect pave band...with the identical wedding band made to match!

FH knew almost when we first started dating that I wanted a classic tiffany style solitaire. What's funny is that when he went to pick the diamond with my brother, he told the jeweler I liked princess cut, thank god my brother interrupted him and said I think she wants round....my bro called his wife and she was like yup she wants round....
FH says he got confused bc I always love princess things LOLL

The ring i got is so much better then the ring i originally liked. He had my ring custommade & the open beaded set was so much better then the regular beaded set.

we walked past a jewlery shop and we decided to go in and take a look. the jewler took out 3 trays of settings and as we were looking I asked FH which setting does he think i would want. . .. and there he goes, he picked out the one i fell in love with ;) and then a few months later he proposed. yup, he knows me best!

all i told my fh is that i want a simple ring fit for a 'princess'...
he got the hint and i received a beautiful princess cut stone with 2 small princess cut side stones !!

FH asked me what I wanted...... after he had already designed my e-ring and ordered it. It was a good thing it was right on the money! (just larger and of a much higher quality than I expected!) see my photos to see it, I'm absolutely obsessed with it! (antique setting, raised middle stone, micro pave surrounding, and just the most beautiful ring I could have ever dreamt of!

We had started looking at rings long before becoming engaged. I pointed out antique style rings. FH met with a family friend who was a jewler to desing the ring. He got it perfect including a matching band.

The ring was never a big issue for us I just wanted the romantic proposal so I got the romantic proposal and a beautiful custom made ring in the shape of a rose (round center stone a 4 round stones as leaves) that his father designed in Argentina 40 years ago for his mother.

This is MY DREAM ring! I can't believe he got it for me. It's so, so perfect and is truly the MOST beautiful item I've ever owned.

Fh and I NEVER went shopping for it, I would ask him hey lets go try on rings and he was like no, there is no need, i know what you like...AND HE DID!! It was exactly what i wanted!
