I am speculating, but my something borrowed will most likely be my mothers pearls and my something old....no idea.

Re: SPINOFF TO SOMETHING BLUE
Same here. I have not the slightest clue. Wanted to have something of my moms with me since she raised me alone and my grandpa is walking me down instead of her, but I don't know what

You can view it either way. My cousin mixed it all together and wore her mother's earrings which were borred and old, her garter was blue and her hubby bought her a new necklace to wear that day. HTH

Something old: I am taking a piece of my mother's wedding gown and a piece of FMIL's wedding gown and having it sewn into the lining of my gown. These dresses are both over 30 years old and both couples are still together so I think it's a good start
Not 100% sure about borrowed yet, I might borrow a necklace from our family jewler rather than buy something

Re: SPINOFF TO SOMETHING BLUE
Haven't decided. I would like to look through my grandmother's jewelry to see if there is anything I can borrow.

My something borrowed will be my cousin's (MOH) slip she wore at her wedding last year. Something blue who knows.

Re: SPINOFF TO SOMETHING BLUE
something borrowed is our wedding date. FH's maternal grandparents are just the cutest couple (after 60 yrs!!) and we want to be as happy as they are. On our wedding day it will be 61 yrs for them and we will do the grandparents dance for them and are playing there song... then FH and I want to join in. SOmething old was going to be lace from my mom's gown but she threw it out!! So I'll have to think of something else..

Re: SPINOFF TO SOMETHING BLUE
I am going to be using my great grandmother's wedding band, so that will be my old. I am going to pin prayer medals, that belong to my mom and my grandmother before that , into my dress somewhere...that will be my borrowed.
