Is it bad that I hardly ever wear my rings? I use tons of gel in my hair and usually have to scrunch it during my commute, so my rings would get gross looking if I wore them. and some nights I work late, I don't want to have to fight to keep them..does everyone wear their's everyday. DH never takes his off, it does not bother him at all that I rarely wear mine

Re: spinoff to suspicious
I personally would be bothered if DH didn't wear his wedding band and I know that he would be pissed if I didn't wear my rings. He worked really hard designing my e-ring and spent a pretty penny on it too, I wouldn't want it to sit in a jewelry box collecting dust.

Re: spinoff to suspicious
Im sorta both ways.
I bought my wedding band to be able to be work WITH my e-ring and WITHOUT.
My wedding band doesn’t have lots of diamonds in it all lined up. 9 small round diamonds spread through the whole circle of the ring. Actually within the gold, but not channel set. The gold and the diamonds lay even, if you get my meaning. It’s VERY lightweight.
I take my e-ring off the moment I walk in my house. And if I’m not going to work, I generally just don’t bother putting my e-ring on. I feel guilty wearing those diamonds to go get my laundry, who am I trying to impress? I’ll wear my e-ring out a lot, don’t get me wrong. But generally speaking, I don’t care if I forget it. It’s just not that big of a deal.
My wedding band. Now that I don’t remove. I put stuff in my hear to keep the fizz under control, but I always end up washing my hands and usually let my wedding band soak in the hot water I the sink for a minute or so (we have grated drains in our office). My wedding band isn’t flashy, it’s unique, slim and easy to wear.

yes imo it should be worn but it isn't a requirement.. and if her DH doesn't mind then what does it matter?
My DH can't wear his wedding ring to work...does that make him not married?

DH would rather I wear them, but he sees how gross they get with my hair, I have curly/frizzy hair...I wear them if I am out with him, just not to work

THIS is the reason I'm motivated to wear my e-ring. Jim put so much thought and effort into designing my e-ring.
This made it twice as hard to find a wedding band to go with and without it. Still I'd say I wear my e-ring in public 95% of the time, but never in the house.
I wear my wedding band 100% of the time period.

you said it would bother you? lol, I read it wrong, thinking it would not bother you...hmmm maybe I will ask dh again to make sure it does not bother him. I do love my rings, I love them soooo much, they just always get caught in my hair, hehe, and especially now when I put my gloves on, the rings pick up so much lint

Re: spinoff to suspicious
the wedding band is symbolic of the circle of life. it means you have committed yourself to another thru everything life hands you. it shows that is a bond that cannot be broken. i have curly hair and use gel, but i still wear my rings.

well I think my name change and pics of my wedding day set the tone. to tell you the truth I was shocked that DH wanted a ring. My father never had one, and I thought that was the norm....I kind of just feel like it is an extra gift I recieved when we got engaged.
